How do I train to a Level 5 in Safeguarding?

Designated professionals should attend a minimum of 24 hours of education, training and learning over a three-year period.  This should include leadership, appraisal, supervision training and the context of other professionals work.

  • Training needs analysis to focus on delivering on policy, procedure and evidence base to CCG’s and NHSE
  • Strategic presentations focusing on to Board/CCG/CQC/NHSE
  • Quality assurance processes linked to monitoring of services across healthcare through audit
  • Clinical Governance and dealing with the Media
