Change of Dates and Cancellations
We appreciate that sometimes cancellations and date changes are necessary.
In some cases, a percentage of the course fee may be applicable for such cancellations or changes at a rate dependent on the time of the cancellation.
We charge fees at the following rates :
• If you cancel more than 14 days prior to course : No charge
• If you cancel 14 – 7 days prior to course : 50% of the course fee
• If you cancel less than one week prior to course : 75% of the course fee
• If you cancel on the day of the course : 100% of the course fee
Gateway Training & Consultancy reserve the right to cancel or amend dates and times of any course at any time without liability. Should this unlikely event occur, Gateway will do everything reasonably possible to notify all course delegates at the earliest opportunity of such changes. All delegates will be offered either a full refund, an alternative course date or a Gateway Training Credit Note.

Non-Attendance / Late Arrival
If delegates do not attend the course and you have not previously contacted us, the full course fee will still apply.
If your delegates arrive late for a course or miss any session, it will be at the trainer’s discretion as to whether they are able to attend or complete the training. For qualification purposes, we have to ensure that all delegates have attended all sessions in order to gain the skills and knowledge of the qualification. In the case that the training is not able to go ahead or some delegates are not able to attend the training after a late arrival or non-attendance, the full course fee will still apply.
Invoicing & Payment
Gateway Training & Consultancy’s standard invoicing terms are 30 days from date of invoice.
New clients : Gateway Training & Consultancy requires full payment in advance of the course start date in order for the course to take place. If payment is not received in advance of the training, we will take this as a cancellation notice and the date will be made available to other clients.
Existing clients (in house courses only) : For ongoing training requirements with existing clients, Gateway will invoice at the start of the month for all courses that took place during the previous calendar month. All cancellation and change of date charges still apply.
Certification (in house and open courses)
Certification will be emailed out to yourself if you provide an email address or to your booking contact following course completion. The time for certification to be emailed after a course has taken place is dependent on course title and accreditation body. If you are aware that you need proof of certification by a certain deadline, please do make us aware of this and we will endeavour to get this sent to you. However please note that for open courses certificates will not be sent out until the full course fee has been paid.
Course Content Alterations
We are committed to providing the best quality training for all of our delegates and our courses are constantly updated and improved. Gateway Training & Consultancy reserves the right to alter course content without prior notice and without liability.
Late Payment
In the event of late payment, Gateway Training & Consultancy reserves the statutory right under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (interest) Act [1998] to charge overdue accounts interest of 8% above the base rate per calendar month or part thereof if payments are not received within 30 (thirty) days. This applies from the last date that payment was due to the date payment is received.
