- How body absorbs and excretes the drugs
- Outline a range of medications, their form and route for administration.
- Issues of consent in children
- How to comply with good practice to safely store medication.
- How to observe parents / families in the safe administration of medication
- How to monitor for side effects
- Understand the action to be taken if severe reaction suspected
- Complete a Medication Administered Record
