By the end of the session participants will be able to:

Explain what an allergy is and how allergic reactions occur.

Identify common allergens and risk factors.

Recognise the signs and symptoms of mild, moderate and severe allergic reactions.

Identify the symptoms of anaphylaxis.

Describe the emergency response to anaphylaxis.

Demonstrate the safe use of an adrenaline auto-injector (e.g. EpiPen).

Understand post-incident actions and reporting.
